Noobsi in Brookhaven: the new Roblox book for kids

Noobsi in Brookhaven is out: 25 bedtime stories set in the Roblox roleplay town, for kids aged 8 to 11. What happens, who's in it and where to buy the book

· by Noobsi

Noobsi in Brookhaven is the second book in the Noobsi Bedtime series: 25 bedtime stories set in Brookhaven RP, the Roblox town where you can’t win anything. It’s written for kids aged 8 to 11, includes real Roblox and Discord chats, and is out now in English, Spanish and Catalan, as a paperback and an eBook.

A game with nothing to win

Noobsi has just finished the Steal a Brainrot index. 339 out of 339. Every brainrot collected, every number counted. And now he has no idea what to play.

Wind does. In the group chat, in capitals: “YOU HAVE TO TRY BROOKHAVEN.”

Brookhaven is a town. You pick a house, get a job, drive around and make things up. There are no points, no levels and no leaderboard. For a kid who spent weeks watching money-per-second go up, that makes no sense. How can a game be fun if it never tells you what to do?

That question runs through the whole book. Noobsi doesn’t get Brookhaven. Then, slowly, he does.

What happens in the book

The 25 stories are split into three parts.

Discovery (Stories 1 to 8). Houses, jobs and every noob mistake. In Story 1, Noobsi picks the cheapest house in the game, a two-room caravan, and finds C4 in the props menu. He places it in his living room. The explosion does no damage, but the neighbour comes out to look at the smoke and Noobsi becomes the problem neighbour on his first day. Later he works as a waiter, a bank teller and a babysitter, and gets stuck inside a wall thanks to the famous bed glitch.

Community (Stories 9 to 16). The unwritten rules of roleplay: you don’t walk into someone’s house without being invited. There’s a ban, a sleepover where someone is already inside, a new player the group decides to protect, and a school concert that goes very differently from the plan.

The mystery (Stories 17 to 25). A strange poster at the hospital. A blue key card in a police cell. A name on a gravestone. The 3AM event, a ghost plane and a portal in the mountain. The crew follows the clues together until the last night.

Who’s in it

Same friends, new game. Noobsi narrates, and 13 school friends play with him. Three of them carry the book:

  • Wind, who talks everyone into Brookhaven and keeps the group on track without ever lecturing.
  • Marccuiner, who starts as the worst bank robber in town and ends up standing up for his friends.
  • RocVibabot, the musician who barely talks, records every sound for his channel and has the best scene in the book at the school concert.

There’s also a new face: torrents, who’s more into football than video games, never spends Robux and asks the questions nobody else asks. You can meet the whole crew on the Brookhaven characters page.

For parents

You don’t need to know Roblox. Noobsi learns the game in front of the reader, and the book ends with a glossary of 48 terms. If your kid says “oders”, “bacon” or “RP” and you’re lost, the Brookhaven glossary explains them in plain words.

Some stories deal with real online risks, always inside the plot and never as a lecture. In Story 11, Marccuiner finds a website that promises free Robux. In Story 14, someone pretending to be an admin asks the whole server for passwords. Kids see how the group reacts, and why.

Each story takes about ten minutes to read. One per night works well.

Where to buy it

Noobsi in Brookhaven is on Amazon in three languages, as a paperback and an eBook:

  • English: amazon.com (paperback $9.99, eBook $4.99)
  • Spanish: Noobsi en Brookhaven on amazon.es
  • Catalan: Noobsi a Brookhaven on amazon.es

All the links are on the book page. If your kid hasn’t read the first book, Noobsi in Steal a Brainrot is where the story starts, but Brookhaven stands on its own. You can compare all the books on the Noobsi books page.
