Admin / Admin Abuse #
Server administrator. Has special powers to create events, activate lucky blocks, or delete objects. "Admin abuse" is when the admin activates everything at once, creating (fun) chaos on the server.
Admin Snap #
Administrator function that changes fuse machine recipes in real time. Each snap rotates the available combinations, creating short-lived opportunities.
AFK #
"Away From Keyboard." A player who is connected but not at the screen. Their avatar stays still and their base may be vulnerable.
Alt #
Alternative account. A second Roblox account that a player uses to appear as someone else.
Avatar #
Your character in the game. The figure you control and that other players see.
Balancing / Balance Update #
Developer update that changes brainrot values and rarities. A brainrot worth millions can drop by half overnight, and a cheap one can skyrocket. It's how the creators balance the game's economy.
Ban / Banned #
Expulsion from a server. It can be intentional (for bad behavior) or accidental (an admin pressing the wrong button). When banned, Error Code 600 appears.
Base #
Your property on the server. It has a limited number of slots where you place your brainrots to generate money. There is no separate brainrot inventory — they are always in your base slots. To store brainrots safely, you can use alt accounts. It can be locked, but the lock has a timer that expires.
Bat Battle #
Player versus player (PvP) combat mode in a private server. The goal is to steal the opponent's brainrot and carry it to your base. One player steals while the other defends. If the defender hits the stealer, they swap roles. First to carry a stolen brainrot to their base wins.
Boost #
Temporary upgrade purchased with Robux or activated during events. For example, a "2x money boost" doubles the money your brainrots generate for a period of time.
Brainrot #
The collectible creatures of the game. Each one has a name, a value in virtual dollars, and generates money per second. There are hundreds of types, from the cheapest (Noobini Pizzanini, $25) to the rarest (Celestial Pegasus, $150B).
Bro #
Short for "brother." Informal way to address a friend. Very common in game chats.
Buff #
Temporary or permanent upgrade. A 20x luck buff means the odds of getting something good are multiplied by twenty.
Common / Rare / Epic / Mythic / Secret / Brainrot God #
Rarity levels of brainrots, from lowest to highest value. A Common is worth a few dollars; a Brainrot God can be worth billions.
Cupid's Wings #
Cupid's Wings. Special item from the Valentine's event costing 899 Robux. Allows you to fly and activates ten seconds of invisibility. Very useful for stealing... or for enjoying the views.
Data Stores #
Roblox's save system. Where your brainrots, money, and progress between sessions are stored.
Despawn #
When a brainrot or object automatically disappears from the map, usually because nobody picked it up in time. On the runway, brainrots despawn when they reach the end if nobody buys them.
Discord #
Very popular messaging app among young people. Allows creating servers with text and voice channels to talk with friends.
Divine Spin #
Special in-game roulette that appears during events. Each spin can give rare brainrots, money, or nothing.
Drop #
An object that appears as a reward, whether from a lucky block, a pinata, or an event.
Easter Egg #
Secret hidden in the game by developers. Rituals are an example: hidden mechanics that only activate if you know exactly what to do.
Error Code 600 #
Message that appears when you are expelled from a server. It can be an intentional or accidental ban.
Ez #
"Easy." Used (sometimes provocatively) to say that something was easy.
Farm / Farming #
Repeating an action over and over to accumulate money or resources. "AFK farming" is leaving the game open without actively playing so brainrots generate money on their own.
Fishing / Fishing Rod #
Fishing mechanic that appears during events. You cast a rod into the water and can pull out random brainrots.
FOMO #
"Fear Of Missing Out." The anxiety of missing something important that others are enjoying.
Fuse Machine #

GG #
"Good game." Expression of respect at the end of a match, a trade, or an achievement. Also used as a way to congratulate.
Gifting / Mailbox #
The game's gift system. You can send lucky blocks, gamepasses and base skins to other players through a mailbox. Brainrots cannot be sent via mailbox — they can only be exchanged through trades. It appears especially during Valentine's events.
God Block #
A special type of lucky block, rarer and with better odds of giving valuable brainrots than regular blocks.
Griefer #

L #
"Loss." The opposite of W. Used to point out something bad or a defeat. "L scammer" = loser scammer.
Lock Base #
Activating your base's lock timer. Laser gates close and other players can't enter. But the lock is NOT permanent — it has a timer (60 seconds + 10s per rebirth) that opens the base automatically when it expires. You have to re-lock before time runs out.
Lol #
"Laugh out loud." Laughter in chat format.
LTM #
"Limited Time Mode." Temporary game mode that lasts a few days and then disappears.
Lucky Block #
Mystery box that generates a random brainrot when opened. They come in various types: Taco, Admin, God Block. The more mutations it has, the better its contents can be.
Machine Born #
Type of brainrot that can only be obtained from machines (fuse machine, lucky blocks) and doesn't appear on the runway or in normal trades.
Mutation #
Modifier that multiplies a brainrot's income per second. A lucky block with 5 mutations will give a brainrot with more traits, multiplying its income. It doesn't change which brainrot you get, only how much it generates per second.
Nerf #
The opposite of buff. When developers reduce the value or power of something to balance the game.
Noob #
Novice or inexperienced player. It's not necessarily an insult: we all start out as noobs.
NPC #
"Non-Player Character." Character controlled by the game, not by a real person. In these stories, gervibabot and gerfarm act as NPCs: always present, never interacting.

Pinata #

Rainbow Fire #
Very rare visual trait that combines rainbow colors with flames. A brainrot with rainbow fire can be worth much more than the normal version.
Random #
Unknown player on the server. Not a friend or acquaintance, just someone who happens to be there.
Ready #
"Ready" button in the trade window. Both players must press ready and then accept to complete the exchange. This is the moment when scammers try to pull the switcheroo.
Rebirth #

Reported #

Speedrun #
Trying to complete an objective as fast as possible. In Steal a Brainrot, doing a speedrun of rebirths means chaining them non-stop.
